| 内容記述 | The 9th symposium of the Oizumi Multicultural Childcare and Education Society was held on December 8th, 2023. There were 32 participants including the topic speakers. Participants included the Oizumi Superintendent of Education, administrative officials from the Education Guidance Division, Multicultural Cooperation Division, etc., ECEC providers, and supporters of foreign families and their children. The themes of the topic presentations and designated discussions were " Multicultural Childcare with a View to the Connection between Early Childhood and Primary School - Consideration from the Approach of Echizen, Fukui,". Echizen, Fukui is a thriving industrial area, employing many Japanese Brazilians as workers. The purpose of this symposium was to share the practices of Echizen, Fukui, which is making advanced efforts in this area, and to further promote multicultural symbiosis. The topics presented were "Collaborative Efforts between Jin-ai University and Echizen " and "Multicultural Childcare - Current Situation and Efforts at Kami-Ohda Childcare Center”. It is considered that this symposium will provide an opportunity for Echizen and Oizumi to deepen cooperation, share information, and move toward further multicultural symbiosis together. | |||||||||||
