内容記述 | This study explores themes that emerged through dialogues among educators in early childhood education training institutions, focusing on the complex relationship between educator training and the diversity of students. During the roundtable discussion, several key points were addressed. Firstly, it was noted that student evaluations from educators differ between assessments related to their proficiency as future educators and assessments of their personal qualities, potentially resulting in conflicting messages for many students, particularly those with diverse backgrounds. Regarding the formation of a group that embraces diverse students, it was emphasized that it goes beyond mere complementarity; instead, it involves recognizing and appreciating the inherent uniqueness of each individual and discovering the fascination in others. Additionally, the concept of "polishing completion" emerged during the dialogue, highlighting the need for an attitude that actively embraces diverse perspectives and acknowledges areas of deficiency. However, programs focusing on building relationships and cultivating the ability to recognize individuals, the foundation for embracing diversity, are currently absent from educator training curricula. This underscores the necessity of reevaluating how student diversity is perceived and encourages the exploration of new approaches within educator training programs. | |||||
