This subject is required for both the childcare provider training course and the kindergarten teacher training course. The 2018 amendments to the Guidelines for Education and Childcare positioned daycare centers as early childhood education facilities, reaffirming the importance of education for young children. In this day and age, when so much attention is being paid to the state of early childhood education, it is the responsibility of early childhood education course to train competent childcare providers who have the appropriate personality and specialized knowledge a childcare provider, and who are also skilled in childcare techniques. Therefore, this study analyzes how the "view of childcare" held by the students has changed through the specialized study of "ECEC theory. In this study, I used KH Coder (Ver. 3), a free software for text mining, to try to capture the overall trend of students' free descriptions while ensuring objectivity.
