| 内容記述 | This study aims to examine teaching methods for craft projects utilizing “mechanisms” in elementary school art and craft classes. We conducted craft lessons utilizing crank mechanisms with sixth-grade elementary school students and analyzed how differences in the production process affected the children's learning and their finished works. Results showed that the method of developing ideas from the mechanism presented many technical challenges， leading to situations where children struggled with production. Future research suggests the need to reexamine teaching methods that leverage student initiative， using simpler mechanisms or themes centered on “making things move.” | |||||
